Content Before Cocktails: R. House

On Thursday, January 19th, ULI Baltimore hosted our monthly “Content Before Cocktails” event at the recently opened R.House. The $12 million project, Seawall Development Company’s latest development in Remington, is a new style of food hall in a 50,000-square-foot historic warehouse just a block north of Remington Row. The building boasts 15-foot tall windows with roll-up garage doors and 12,000 square feet of wide open seating surrounded by 10 of Baltimore’s greatest chef-driven food and drink concepts and features a full house bar. New Report Asserts Transit-Oriented Development Provides Fiscal Benefits for Local Governments

Transit-Oriented Development Product Council today released a new report, Fiscal Impacts of Transit-Oriented Development Projects. The study of nearly 10,000 TOD and nonTOD apartment units within the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. metropolitan region concluded that transit-oriented development (TOD) is a responsible fiscal choice for local governments and can save them money.
