Content Before Cocktails: 500 Park

On June 28th, the ULI Baltimore Content Before Cocktails took place at the new 500 Park mixed-use development.  Speakers included Dominick Wiker, VP & Director of Development of Washington Place Equities and designer Charles Alexander, Principal at Alexander Design Studios.  After the brief presentation and project tours, guests enjoyed a poolside open bar tended by TAPS Fill Station of the Mt. YLG Giving Back: Adelaide Bentley Park Beautification

On Saturday, June 2nd, 15 volunteers from ULI’s Young Leaders Group gathered at Adelaide Bentley Park in Towson, MD to participate in a day of Giving Back. In partnership with Blue Water Baltimore, ULI assisted with the beautification and restoration of a small park that had recently been designated a land trust. The park benefits a small community where a lot of the residents are elderly and thus not as able to help with maintenance. Tour & Tales of the Port of Baltimore

On June 7th, the ULI Baltimore Women’s Leadership Initiative hosted an evening boat tour of the Port of Baltimore lead by two of WLI’s own committee members, Kimberly Clark and Caroline Hecker.  There’s no better way to understand Baltimore’s history and experience the city’s transformations than by water.  ULI members took part in a sunset cruise on the top deck of the Annapolitan II with a starboard view of the evolving harbor-front development.  The tour provided insight into the complex waterfront history as well as particulars contributing to the continual … Read More

Annual ULI Baltimore Summer Party: A Night at the Park

On June 13th, ULI Baltimore hosted another soldout Summer Party at Camden Yards with the Baltimore Orioles hosting the Boston Red Sox during an early evening game. Members and guests networked in a left field suite while enjoying the ballpark fare.  Unfortunately, the Orioles were unable to claim the W after the Red Sox rallied in the 5th; earning 3 runs to, ultimately, secure the win. PROLOGIS SCHOLARSHIP: WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE

What The mission of the Women’s Leadership Initiative is to raise the visibility and number of women leaders in ULI and the real estate industry. Prologis and WLI award scholarships to participate in the Fall Meeting to female members of ULI. How Ten scholarships are awarded to applicants who have seven or more years in the industry and have taken leadership roles in their District Council or at the national level.
