Baltimore joins a short list of highly competitive metropolitan areas authorized by the U.S. Department of Commerce to host Select USA spinoff events. In 2023, more than $4.2 billion in private investment was announced for the Baltimore  Region, including nearly $1 billion in new early-stage capital funding. A goal of the summit is to showcase the investment opportunities within the Baltimore region to global and national investors.
