Content Before Cocktails: Porter St. Apartments
Porter Street Apartments is a new, LEED Silver, 223 unit apartment building located within the McHenry Row development. The project is situated on the former Phillips Seafood property and represents that transformation of a former food production facility into a thriving mixed-use community. Porter Street Apartments offers luxury apartments with an expansive amenity package including a 1/2 acre of outdoor space, a heated pool, fitness center, workspaces, dog washing stations and secure bike parking. Porter Street Apartments is the only apartment building in South Baltimore to offer an “All-Inclusive Living Experience” in which all fees, utilities, and parking is included in the rent.
28 Walker is nearing completion of its redevelopment efforts of the former Phillips Seafood property. 28 Walker purchased the 10-acre property from Phillips Seafood in 2013 and has since converted the property into 218,000 sf of Class A Office space, a 600 car garage and 223 apartments. The final 2 acres of the parcel will break ground in October 2017 for a new 85,000 office building and a Courtyard by Marriott Hotel.
