Redwood Campus Center
Please join ULI Baltimore as we tour and learn about the new Redwood Campus Center, located 300 West Redwood Street, adjacent to the Arena and the University of Maryland Baltimore Campus.
Formerly an office building built in 1993, the 345,000 SF, 11-story structure was converted into 395, fully-furnished, single-occupancy apartments designed to meet the needs of graduate students and professionals with all of the modern amenities found in multifamily housing.
One of few new housing opportunities for UMB students and the university community in more than ten years, the Redwood Campus Center recently welcomed its first residents and incorporates new health and safety protocols related to the prevention of COVID 19. The units are a mix of studio, junior and one-bedrooms with amenities on each floor that include shared laundry adjacent to individual and group study lounges.
An enhanced and reoriented building entrance and resident lounge were created by enclosing a once under-utilized breezeway at the ground floor of the building. A fitness center and pet park are easily accessible off of the new resident lounge. Hospitality suites are also available to residents for guests and visiting family. Secure parking is offered under ground and residents have easy access to light rail, the MARC train and the bus system.
The Redwood Campus Center was redeveloped through a joint venture with Metropolitan Partnership and Kinsley Properties. The architecture and interior design team was BCT Design Group.
