The FutuRE of Workplace will discuss how valuations in the office sector have been impacted by both declining demand and the new work-from-home trend. Will flexible workspace thrive or die? And how is office fitout evolving to reflect tenant preferences in a post-pandemic world?

This four-part series running on a quarterly basis is presented in 50-minute, at 9am HKT (GMT+8) on second Wednesday of August, November, February, and May. Simultaneous interpretation in Mandarin and Korean will be provided during the webinar.

    Included sessions:

CBD vs. Work from Home – How Demand for Office Space is Changing
    Wednesday, 11 November 2020 | 9AM HKT (GMT+8)

    (Past webinar)

In the brave new world of social distancing, landlords must face the reality that today’s workspaces are fundamentally different to what they were. With work-from-home an established trend, demand for CBD offices is falling, while flexible workspaces are subject to cross-currents of both rising and falling demand. But are these influences here to stay, or will they fade? We ask a panel of investors, developers, and occupiers how the dynamics of the office industry will evolve.

    Discussion Leaders:
Dr. Henry Chin, Global Head of Investor Thought Leadership, Head of Research, APAC, CBRE
Paul Edwards, General Manager, Strategy & Customer, Mirvac
Paul Salnikow, Chairman and CEO, The Executive Centre
