2600 Huntingdon Ave: Small Scale Redevelopment Tour and Discussion
This event will include a tour and discussion at the adaptive reuse project at 2600 Huntingdon Ave. VS Development has converted a vacant office building in Remington into a 14-unit apartment building. The 11,500-square-foot building sits on a neglected corner at Huntingdon Avenue and West 26th Street that has long been plagued by trash, graffiti, illegal dumping and an old billboard. The tour and discussion will address challenges related to the redevelopment process for small scale projects as well as the process for navigating financing for market-rate multifamily projects. The event will conclude with mingling at R. House.
