    The Center for Architecture and Design at One Charles Center is a landmark building designed by world-renowned modern architect Mies van der Rohe. The 4,000 square feet space is located at the retail level fronting onto Fayette Street, and will convene timely and vital conversations about architecture and the built environment in Baltimore, and the role of design in creating equitable, just, healthy, sustainable and resilient communities. It will also include flexible program and gallery exhibitions space. Programs will include lectures, tours, workshops, and activities for the design community, students, and the general public. She believes that sustainability and resilience are integral to every project, focusing on design solutions that are efficient, adaptable, and responsive to human and environmental conditions. Allison’s portfolio includes adaptive use and renovations of cultural institutions and urban landmarks. She also works closely with university and school clients to deliver thoughtfully designed classroom buildings, K-12 projects, and campus plans. Allison believes in the power of design to affect positive change for individuals, communities, and the future of our shared environment.
