A newly formed satellite committee of ULI Baltimore’s District Council, ULI Bay Committee provides a full agenda of programs and initiatives, networking and educational venues for the Eastern Shore counties of Maryland and Delaware. Their focus is in advancing responsible land use practices, and creating and sustaining thriving communities, for small towns and agricultural areas of the Delmarva region.

This is not your Father’s Eastern Shore! It used to be when you crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge you felt like you had arrived at the “Shore”. But now there are familiar retailers, restaurants, home builders, logos and brands along these traditionally traveled routes from the bridge to ocean points.

ULI Baltimore introduced our newest Committee – ULI Bay with a presentation to learn what is driving the current appeal and future demand of these destinations from Kent Island to Ocean City and Rehoboth in one fast-paced, strategic session.

Topics included:

  • The changing face of the Eastern Shore
  • Key economic drivers on the Eastern Shore
  • Why companies choose to locate on the Eastern Shore
  • Types of deals being completed & current opportunities
  • ULI Bay Committee Chair
