Black-Eyed Susan Day – 5/20/2016

ULI Baltimore congregated at Pimlico Race Course to celebrate the second annual party at the Black-Eyed Susan Day. The weather was beautiful and members got together for plenty of food, drinks, networking and, of course, horse races. The turf-side terrace tent was the perfect oasis to place bets right next to the action, catch up with old friends and make new business connections. Some members won  and others lost, but Go Maggie Go shocked and pleased all by pulling ahead of Kinsley Kisses to take the Black Eyed Susan victory. Although we were left without live music this year, everyone had a wonderful time…some even caught a glimpse of rapper 50 Cent. It was a fantastic second year event and ULI Baltimore hopes to keep this tradition for many years to come.

Summer Party – 6/2/2016

On June 2nd, ULI Baltimore enjoyed a perfect evening outdoors for their annual Summer Party.  The festivities began at Luna del Sea.  Their outdoor patio served as the perfect area to grab some food and beverages while networking with new and old acquaintances.  The action continued inside Camden Yards as the Orioles took on the bitter AL East rival Red Sox.  The bullpen bar served as the perfect vantage point to witness the eight homeruns and the 12-7 Orioles victory.  The ULI Summer Party proved to be a great tradition that will continue for years to come.

Women’s Leadership Initiative Inaugural Event – 1/27/2016

The Women’s Leadership Initiative hosted its inaugural event at The Valley Inn in Lutherville, MD as the newest committee for ULI Baltimore’s chapter. The theme for the night was “Conversations on the Back Porch”. The sold out intimate dinner featured three respected leaders in Baltimore’s development industry. Amy Bonitz, President and CEO, BARCO; Caroline Moore, CEO, Ekistics; and Linda Lo Cascio, Owner and Principal, LLC Consulting Group, worked together early in their professional careers. The three friends lightheartedly shared industry stories, answered questions and offered constructive advice to other women members of ULI Baltimore. It was an enjoyable evening of casual conversation in a fun and relaxing environment.
