Mr. Kaii-Ziegler has more than 32 years of professional experience applying local and regional land use planning, project management, and special studies expertise to county and municipal governments in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina. Currently, he is the Planning and Zoning Officer for Anne Arundel County and previously worked as a Planning Director in Queen Annes, Harford, Frederick, and Charles County. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Land Use Analysis/Political Science from Eastern Michigan University, a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, and a separate Master’s Degree in Public Administration, both from Wilmington University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and a graduate of the Maryland Climate Leadership Academy. He has presented at various conferences and seminars including the National APA Conference and Growth and Infrastructure Consortium National Conferences. He resides in the City of Annapolis.
