Join ULI as we learn about and tour the new Canton Overlook community in southeast Baltimore.

Canton Overlook is a new 150-unit apartment community located on Broening Highway. The $47.5 million investment brings state-of-the-art living amenities to a post-industrial area once home to General Motors and Western Electric. It’s conveniently located just minutes from I-95 in an emerging Baltimore jobs nexus with Tradepoint Atlantic and Amazon facilities nearby. Other employment centers include Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and Johns Hopkins Hospital. Retail and nightlife are also minutes away in historic Canton and Fells Point.

Residents can choose from 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom floorplans and enjoy amenities like a fitness center equipped with Peloton and TRX equipment, gourmet kitchens with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, a fourth-floor community space with expansive views of the port and Key Bridge, a WiFi enabled co-working business space with conference room, and an expansive courtyard and green space formed between the two L-shaped buildings.

The project broke ground in June 2022 with the first residents occupying the new complex in late November 2023. The project was developed by Foundation Development Group, designed by Moseley Architects, and constructed by Southway Builders.
